Ferrite magnet is a permanent magnet made of iron oxide, barium carbonate or strontium carbonate (Fe2O3, BaO or SRO) as the main raw materials. Compared with other permanent magnets, these magnets are hard and brittle with low magnetic energy. However, it is not easy to demagnetize, not easy to corrode, simple production process and low price. Therefore, they have the highest output in the whole magnet industry and are widely used in industrial production.
Ferrite magnet is a kind of sintered permanent magnet material, which not only has strong anti-demagnetization performance, but also has the advantage of low cost. These magnets are hard and brittle, which requires special machining technology. Anisotropic magnets must be magnetized in the selected direction because they are oriented along the manufacturing direction, while isotropic magnets can be magnetized in any direction because they are not oriented, although a slightly stronger magnetic induction will be found on the smallest side of the pressure surface. Due to its low cost, it has a wide range of applications, from motors and speakers to toys and handicrafts, so this magnet is the most widely used permanent magnet material at present.
